In 1993 I released my first album Dimension Intrusion under my F.U.S.E. pseudonym.  The album was a collection of my early music experiments in my U.T.K. studio which was “Under The Kitchen” at my parents house in Windsor, Canada.  I was 22 years old, was already running my label @plus8records with my partner @johnacquaviva but still in search of my own unique sound, something between the futurism of Detroit Techno and the hypnosis of Chicago Acid house (with a lot of hours of Sci-Fi movies thrown in for good measure). Within Dimension Intrusion you can hear both the sounds of what had inspired me and the developing acidic overtones of what would become Plastikman. Today, 25 years later, I’m very proud and excited to release the Dimensions collection, featuring all those early experiments, the unreleased 1993 Computer Space album and accompanying art and essay from my brother @matthewhawtin, whose paintings and inspiration have been part of my adventure since the beginning.
